-Our physician is available during routine work-hours, and after-hours, 24/7, to provide expert analysis and advice by phone, email, or telemedicine on pre- and post- travel medical issues and problems/illness.

There is a cost for access to such expertise which is willingly provided, but nonetheless disruptive to our professional and personal lives.

Hopefully, this service will provide value in allowing to make decisions in your best medical interests. It may also allow you to avoid the lost time and often exorbitant costs of visits to “urgent care” centers and hospital emergency facilities, where the medical staff often are not experienced or knowledgeable in these matters and may even give misinformation. Primary care physicians typically do not want to address medical issues associated with travel as they are understandably unable to stay abreast of diseases encountered outside of the U.S. They promptly “refer out” such cases. We short-circuit the situation such that time delays do not happen when there may be time-criticality in a medical issue. We believe the charges for after-hours consultation provides substantial value, in the right circumstances.

Terms of Service

  1.  Our billing rate,

    Minimum Charge = $500

    Pro-rated Charge Rate = $550/Hr.

  2. Verifiable payment method.

  3. At our discretion, $1,000 deposit may be required upfront, with a refund for any unused balance.

  4. If you feel you have an emergency, do not wait for our physician to return your call; call “911” or immediately proceed to the nearest emergency facility.

  5. WE WILL NOT ACCEPT PAYMENT from your medical insurer for these services; you can provide our statement, for services rendered, to your insurer to seek reimbursement.

  6. If you agree to our terms, and then fail to pay and/or provided fraudulent billing information, we will pursue all legal options to collect.

By completing the above action, you agree to personally pay the full amount of our service charges at the time of service and you agree to our Terms of Service. Delay in payment will be subject to a daily interest charge (compounded) at the average prevailing business rate of interest in Houston, Texas, USA. Consultation will commence only after the above is completed.
